Crafters In Cahoots!
I'm really pleased to be a Cahooter Artisan in the new store in downtown Plymouth, NH. Called 'Crafters In Cahoots', a collection of over 20 local artisans showcasing and retailing affordable art. I have 36 pieces on exhibit and for sale comprising a mix of artcards, prints and original artwork. The people are great and I really look forward to sharing more art with my fellow Cahooters.

Acrylic On Wood
One of my goals for this year was to experience using acrylics on wood. I didn't quite know how I would begin. The journey began after I experienced horse riding last year. Having developed a bit of a bond with a few special horses, I decided they deserved some personal signs for their stall doors. Knowing their personalities, I had so much fun painting their names to depict who they are plus a little fantasy......this is the beginning of my journey with acrylics and I'm really enjoying the experience. A little different to watercolor paint. There is much to learn, that's what I really enjoy!

Let The Artwork Begin!
I've done quite a bit of painting in and around the house including the dogyard, dog houses, my dog twuk and my concrete walkway. So I haven't really stopped being creative, I simply swapped out canvas for wood and concrete! Oh, I've also been painting acrylic on wood creating signs for some rather adorable horses who I've gotten to know and to love. The signs will hang infront of their stalls, each sign designed and created for their unique and individual personalites. It's been a really fun project from the heart.
But now as these projects are coming to an end, my head is full of new ideas and images which are simply ready to explode onto paper..... so 'let the artwork begin!'

Dog Twuk Art
I decided that as my dog twuk already had some art on it, why not use the back of the storage box as a canvas and paint an appropriate scene of myself and few of my sled dogs in a fun and wimsical manner. So I did! It's rather large and I hope that when cars and trucks pull up behind me (us), that I give them a momet to fantasize what it is like to mush a team of sled dogs!
