Dog Twuk Art

I decided that as my dog twuk already had some art on it, why not use the back of the storage box as a canvas and paint an appropriate scene of myself and few of my sled dogs in a fun and wimsical manner. So I did! It's rather large and I hope that when cars and trucks pull up behind me (us), that I give them a momet to fantasize what it is like to mush a team of sled dogs!

Sunflowers In The Wind

Just a fun, small painting of my sunflowers blowing in the wind before the storm.

My First Art Fair!

Up Close And Personal!
This Saturday, July 10th at the Veggie Art Girl Boutique in Holderness. Outdoor vendors of various artistic goodies along with ice cream, music and more! As a store artisan, I'm excited about setting up my booth along with my dear friend, Peg Hendel and some her hand made items. Should be a fun and inspirational day with like minded people. I want to thank Stacey for the opportunity of continuing my journey outside of my art closet and into the retail world with my watercolor originals, quality prints and a variety of notecards.

My First Retail Exposure

I'm really thrilled to be working with Stacy Lucas from the Veggie Art Girl Art Boutique ( the Art Boutique part is my own name for her very creative and inspiring store). I spent the last couple of weeks getting inventory ready for the store in time for Memorial Weekend. A collection of original watercolor art, prints and notecards. I will also be a vendor at Stacey's Open House in July. So exciting! Time to get back to painting....

A Quiet Night In

This was a challenging composition and certainly inspired by the number of quiet nights in that it took me to finish this piece! Actually, I really enjoyed myself as I allowed the format and the background evolve. Of course I had to throw in my reading glasses because without them.... well, there would be no paintings!!

Ciao Ragazzi!!

From my Tuscany series. Inspired by fond memories of my time in Italy as a young adult. Warm evenings, family and few good friends sitting together on the front porch as my auntie would pour us a glass of martini. Off we would go for a night on the town, well.... more like a night 'on the village' as it was just a small, local bar where folk would hang out.
